Ultimate Texas Hold'em, a table-based variation of the classic poker game offers players the opportunity to play head-tohead against the dealer. Ultimate Texas Hold'em has many advantages, including a large range of betting options and table limits as well as fast action.

How to Play Texas Hold'em Poker

Ultimate Texas Hold'em gives players several betting options. Players must place equal bets on the ante and blind circle to begin the hand. Optional Trips bonus wagers are also available to players.

Blind and ante circles are the same: Before each hand begins, each player must place equal amounts of bets on each circle. The betting minimums of the table often determine the amount of these bets.

Trips bonus: A bonus bet that pays odds if your last five-card hand is three-of-a kind or better. Trips bets payouts are determined by the probability of getting a hand.

Raise: Players have the option to raise either before or after the flop. Each player can only make one raise. The higher the bet, the earlier a raise can be made. For example, raises made before the "flop", can raise three to four times their original ante. The limit on raises drops after the "turn" and again after a "river".

Gameplay

Ultimate Texas Hold'em uses a standard 52 card deck. The dealer puts five cards, also known as the community card, face down on a table to start the hand. Each player receives two cards. The players look at their cards, and decide whether to raise or check the ante.

The dealer will flip the community cards twice. In the first round of play (known as the flop), the dealer unveils the first three community card. To complete the five-card community deck, the remaining two community cards will be revealed simultaneously.

Each round ends with players having the opportunity to evaluate their hand strength and request a raise. The second round ends with players having to either match their original bets or fold.

The dealer will reveal his cards after all rounds are completed. The dealer must have at most one matched pair to be eligible. The dealer who does not qualify will be refunded ante bets. The dealer then compares his hand to the rest of the players. The best poker hand is the winner.
